“Amazing location directly at the beach, super view, clean and comfortable rooms”

“Everything! We had a family chalet which was beautifully designed and very comfortable. Set back a few metres from the beachfront, it was our favorite beach accommodation of our trip. The staff are wonderful and can assist with Tuk tuk day trips or a taxi to your next destination. There is a little bridge that you cross from reception to the chalet which adds to that feeling of getting away from it all. We loved this place and would definitely recommend. The food was delicious too!”

“Stunning location - truly beautiful and so, so peaceful. Only the sound of the waves crashing (where were those barking dogs??!!). The difference between the two villa prices are the superior has glass above the door and aircon where the standard has a fan and mossies can get in, but other than that identical. Well spaced apart, on the beach, great little beach restaurant (watch the 10% service charge), on a very long stretch of golden sand. Not possible to swim really, even in 'safe' area but there is a lovely lagoon with free kayaks.”

“The room was clean & spacious. For the price there should have been at least a fridge &!TV. Due to this there was nothing to do when it rains.”

“This hotel is located in a very beautiful part of the Tangalle beach. The hotel area is wide but there's not that many bungalows in it so it definitely has a that feeling of exclusivity. In addition to the beach, there's a lagoon which you can pedal with the kayaks provided for free. At the beach there is an area where you can swim protected by reefs. It's only place for swimming at the whole long beach. The cleanliness of the hotel is very good. They clean the rooms every day and even take the fallen leafs off the beach and under the palms next to bungalows. The location is great if you like to relax and listen the sounds of nature. It's great that they don't play any music at the restaurant unlike in many other places. The bungalow with AC was really good, clean and shower was good. There are couches at the terrace with is nice too.”

“Only a short tuk tuk ride from the center of Tangalle, spacious chalet right on the beach and a beautiful lagoon in the backyard, laid back on the terrace and saw a water monitor passing through our doorstep 😎, enjoyed kayaking on the mangrove lagoon, could see fishermen returning to the beach everyday after sunrise, friendly and helpful staff, very good beach bar and had all meals here. The chalet was cleaned up and served with bottled drinking water on daily basis. Personally speaking, Medilla beach is way better than Mirrisa! My parents and I loved it. It's the most beautiful and tranquil beach we've seen along the southwest coast. Would definitely stay here again if in Sri Lanka! 这片海滩游客很少又美又安静，如果选择在坦加勒停留，住在这里准没错！”
