“Proximity to the town centre. Lovely old building with interesting history. Helpful staff.”
“Nice size comfy room with large bed, excellent breakfast.”
“On the first morning breakfast was cooked to order.”
“Comfortable stay, in good location, in a hotel with an interesting history.”
“This converted convent was reasonably comfortable but looked tired. The newer Louisa block had more modern facilities and was very pleasant. The dinner we had was very good and value for money.”
“I arrived at the hotel and when I booked in I was told l had been upgraded to a larger room. The staff could not do enough for you and I would recommend this hotel to anybody going to Swanage providing they are reasonably fit because if you are not on the high street or the beach front anywhere else in Swanage is uphill”
“I cannot rate this hotel highly enough. Staff extremely pleasant and friendly, food more'ish, the building amazing and full of history and a brilliant location for the high street, steam train to Corfe and the beach. I shall definitely being telling my friends about this exceptional find!!!”
“Nice building. Staff all friendly. Good rooms and very clean.”
“Good location, the main house was very interesting. Staff were friendly and efficient. Bedroom and bathroom were spacious. Drinking water fountain in the hall is a great idea. Large car park but spaces were a bit narrow. Lovely gardens.”
“The hotel's history, the quirky relics built into the place and in the extensive garden with it's weeping ash tree. Another plus being it's central location within Swanage, making exploration-cum-wandering easy. The friendly informative gardener and his adopted cat Tilly. All in all a venue to stir the imagination.”
