“A lovely room with balcony overlooking the square. We found a small restaurant on our last day in a square near to the main shopping street where the food was excellent. The proprietor was Manuel Bellido Enrique. Previous to this we found the food to be very average. The restaurant next door to the hotel we didn't like at all!”
“The caring owner who did so much to inform me about the ancient building, Zafra, and its history, and who is so proud of his city and hotel. And the situation of this hotel in such a glorious small square in the middle of the old city. I will never forget sitting with a glass of wine at a cafe in the square, watching the storks returning at dusk to their nests in the tower of the old church across the street.”
