“The hotel is in a convenient location if you are travelling from the south of France to Calais or Zeebrugge - about 8 miles off the motorway. We had bikes with us and a secure lock-up was available for them.”

“Over the past 18 years we have, from time to time, stayed at this hotel. The region of the Lakes is about halfway between our homes in the UK and France. This hotel was always good but in recent years has been re-furbished and improved; it is light and airy with small but pleasant garden courtyards to enjoy. We thought the dinner better than ever competing with some of the best in the area and although not tried the hotel now has a Bistro menu at lunchtime which looked interesting.”

“Perfect stop, pot luck pick from Booking.com and what a find. Exceptional food, almost like a 1 star. We had a small room, we booked on the day, so what can you expect but the last room. Every thing is cooked and prepared on site, wonderful french experienece, and a spar to boot.”
