“Went with wife for concert at Hollywood Bowl, a 15 min walk away. Was great not to be caught up in that mayhem and just walk back to a very nice hotel room after the show. Room was great, and so quiet I don’t know if there were any other guests on our floor. However, the whole Hollywood and Highland area is a mess, feels a lot like a rough version of Vegas. Get there early, self parking is $15 in mall underground garage, but can’t go in-out. It’s a great place to stay if you’re seeing a show or theater, but otherwise there are less crazy areas to stay in Hollywood.”
