“We stayed in Les Capucins because of its location. It is easily accessible from the highway A6 and only a few kilometers far from two fascinating sites - unspoiled medieval top-hill village of Vézelay with the romanesque abbey church (UNESCO listed monument) and Grottes d'Arcy sur Cure with astonishing palaeolithic cave-paintings. Stunning views across the surrounding countryside of Bourgogne are no less fascinating. The most of the restaurants and stores are closed early, around eight. The hotel is simple, but with a nice courtyard garden and free guarded parking. Friendly and helpful staff. WiFi is very good and accessible all around the building. There is a nice restaurant in the hotel.”
