“I really enjoyed my stay here and would happily recommend it to other travelers. The room was elegant and spacious and had a nice view onto the street below. As an American, I felt like my dollar went far in Montreal and this was an excellent deal for what I was paying. The staff were incredibly courteous and helpful, equally so in English and French. The valet parking was prompt and convenient, had no problems with storing my bags before and after checkout, and I was plied with free bottled water anytime I was lingering in the lobby for any reason. An entrance to the Underground City is right across the street, there are great restaurants nearby, and the fine arts museum is only a few blocks away. The old town is about a 25 minute walk (which can be long in the winter … if that's your main destination, maybe stay closer), but as long as you're looking to stay in this general area, I doubt you will be disappointed with Le St Martin!”
