“Absolutely everything was marvelous about this hotel. The location was perfect-- imagine living next to the Luxembourg Gardens for five days. We were able to walk to almost all of our favorite Paris sites and the nearby restaurants were delightful. Our room was cozy (ie small by American standards) but was charming, clean and comfortable. The windows looked down into their courtyard garden, so despite the somewhat busy location of the hotel, our room was perfectly quiet most of the time. One exception-- the absolutely delightful sound of someone (?) practicing the cello the first morning we arrived. How lovely to fall asleep to that music The staff was friendly and helpful and ever so patient with our attempts to speak French. If we could return to Paris next week, we'd booking our room again at Relais de Medici.”
“The room we were given was in an appalling state. The over all decoration was old and out of date. The facilities in the bathroom were basic. The windows were in sucha a state that not even in the worst hostel in India you could find. And that at 300 euros a night! Such a rip off. Never more to that hotel.”
