“This hotel had the most memorable cheese at breakfast. Really, really good. :) The staff and room were fantastic! We had booked, I think, a superior room, but they offered us an upgrade to a suite with a terrace (usually costing far more) for only 20 euros more per night. It had a HUGE terrace, with a perfect view of the Chateau d'Amboise. A very comfortable, huge room, with a claw-foot tub and separate shower. The staff was perfect, and hustled around helping fulfill our every request (mostly making restaurant recommendations and the like). Really a great stay.”

“A really lovely Hotel in a very convenient location for all the shops and restaurants whilst being very peaceful. Our host was very obliging and helped us book a restaurant which turned out to have one Michelin star, a very friendly atmosphere, wonderful food and really good value for money. We had a pre-dinner drink relaxing in the Hotel lounge. The bedroom and bathroom were very clean with a comfortable bed. Breakfast was served in a lovely dining room and was delicious.”

“Very comfortable and attractive room in a pretty chateau in the shadow of the castle. Easy to find and deal with while exploring the Loire. Good Restaurants just two blocks away. The hosts were delightful and helpful in every way. Extended communal spaces make you feel like you're living there and not just renting a room. I don't hesitate a second to highly recommend it ... Don't look any further.”

“The owner and his wife were so hospitable and went out of their way to make us feel very comfortable. We stayed in the little apartment and it was spacious, clean and very pretty. The location of this place is great - very close to the restaurants and castle - and we liked parking onsite. We also loved the breakfast which was the nicest we have had all trip through France.”

“Lovely old mansion/chateau converted into a hotel. The staff should not have been more helpful and friendly. The location is an easy walk to the Amboise castle (which is a must) . It was also a good base for a day trips driving to see some of the grand Chateaus in the Loire Valley. A beautiful stay”
