Our room was perfect, thank you for upgrading us from the triple to the quadruple room! Both dinner and breakfast were fantastic, I couldn't fault either. “The location within foot range of the inner town is a very good start for a tour so as taking advantage of the good places for food drinking and music..;) The excellent beds are then there to make the trip worthwhile as you can start all over again after that good night sleep.”
“Friendly, helpful staff who couldn't do enough for you. I was offered garaging for my motorcycle, which I accepted. ( the chef Alain is a keen biker). The food is excellent and good portions are served. Can't wait for my next trip to Megeve, I'll most definitely be booking the Gai Soleil again.”
“This is a fantastic little hotel on the edge of town and deserves 10 out of 10. Yes the rooms r small but its not the usa. The breakfast is perfect, theres a neat little swimming pool and lovely drawings on the wall by Damin, apparently from Lyon. But the star is Cecily your hostess.. she was everywhere all day and with a smile.”

“Excellent breakfast, and given we asked for an early one due to the ski races, this was great. Even had Weetabix thanks some British influence in the hotel. (So good English spoken too if that's important). Rooms were excellent, clean and modernish, given the age of the hotel. Nice refurb in the public areas. Great bar and restaurant too.”
