“This was originally a mid-range highway motel, more recently upgraded - quite well done, but the upgrades are starting to age. Location good for the highway, but no views except the parking lots. Lots of restaurants, etc. close by. I liked the bare hardwood floors (you can tell whether they're clean!) and firm beds. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was OK.”
“Breakfast was a good selection of standard continental items: standard cereals (no granola or muesli that we saw), plain and fruit bagels, white and brown bread, sliced plastic cheese, Philly cheese, hot baked beans, cold boiled eggs, fruit yoghurt, no meat protein, jams, peanut butter, caramel spread. Coffee machine making single espresso, long cups, cappucino and flat whites. The best part of the trip was the wonderful restaurant, Casa Flora, just 5 minutes walk away - italian, steaks, pizza, fish, very friendly service and big meals. BYO (take your own wine). The motel had nice soap and lotions - lemongrass.”
