“The bedrooms are a bit small but very comfortable and well equipped. The gardens are extensive and beautifully maintained with a terrace at the front of the property where drinks are served a welcome facility after a long drive.”
“having been here before we knew what to expect. Due to bad planning we arrived much later than we intended. Fortunately although the Hotel was exceedingly busy for a Wednesday night, they had over 30 sitting down for dinner, there was no real problem other than the room, like ALL the others was on the second floor, l do NOT do stairs well!! The evening meal was very good, the owner bakes his own bread for this meal, though not, unfortunately NOT for breakfast! Breakfast was plentiful and very good, you can use a teapot, more French Hotels now are starting to realise most English prefer their tea this way, done properly!! Looking forward to our next visit in due course!”
“Easy enough to find. Plenty of parking. Heavy rain when he arrived but hotel have good selection of umbrellas. Quiet and must be very pleasant in fine weather. Rural location. Outside terrace. We enjoyed a very nice meal in the hotel restaurant. This is an older French hotel of exactly the sort we like.”
“Second stay at this well run family owned hotel with great restaurant. It is a great place to stay enroute to or from the Channel. The rooms are not particularly large, but adequate and very good value. There is plenty of secure parking and easy access to the road network. Will stay again!”
