“Well placed to be quiet away from the town. Friendly, efficient day staff. 20 min walk to town, 10E taxi. Havania beach, 10 min walk or 10E taxi is the best closest public beach with toilets, a great beach cafe and taverna with amazing food over the road. Small secluded and beautiful views. Ag Nik has the best shops compared with others in eastern Crete. Avra restaurant , great food and service just before you hit the main town, 10 mins away. Restaurants around the port and town are generic. Use the local bus service. Cheap and super efficient.”
