“Staff was fantastic - definitely got the feel of a family run business. We arrived quite late but the chef of the restaurant still accommodated our request for a hot meal at 2230. Breakfast was great and room was quite comfortable and nicely decorated. Plenty of shops and bakeries/cafes/restaurants nearby, although we ate at the hotel because the food was that good. Self service, honor system drink fridge in the stairwell is a great idea!”
“Everything was excellent, including secure parking for my motorcycle but - the restaurant closes on Wednesdays and Thursdays. I don't have a problem with that as all hoteliers need time off with their families but I was not expecting it - maybe I failed to read the hotel notes. Other reasonable eating places were open in town. I would go again but on Fridays to Tuesdays only.”

“Very cozy, convivial (gemütlich!) place, both downstairs as well as the room itself. Cute picturesque decorations and colors, very home-like and 'vintage'. Very friendly staff, in the restaurant there was fast service and frequent check-ups if everything was still fine, even though it was quite busy with lots of other guests. Fantastic food (I had asparagus) and lots to choose from, the breakfast was also very good. Free parking. The wifi worked well on my laptop, but not at all on my iPhone. Practical wardrobe, table, hooks in bathroom and little details like that. Good price for what you get. The beer garden also looked lovely but unfortunately it rained and was windy. I may come back some other time. Indoors was also very cozy.”
