“All great, staff amazing however we were really sick and the manager was extremely rude and nasty. Accused us of damaging a room etc without even checking. Tried to charge us R5000 for a sheet that my partner had a tummy run on however when spending R40000 for 2 nights believe me. It was not our intention to be bed ridden with the most severe bug. Apart from his rudeness and leaving a poor resemblance of this place in our mind we loved the place and all the other staff were really delightful. Especially Dylan and Sarah”

“Amazing and special place to stay. Unique, flamboyant, baroque style, with peacocks roaming the grounds around the lake. Friendly staff. Rooms very well appointed, fresh flowers, comfy beds and everything you could wish for. Log fire in main hall. Excellent food and wines.”
