“This was a one-night stopover on the way down from Rome to Campania. It was only 10 minutes from the motorway, but it felt remote and peaceful. There were stunning views of the mountains from our room and the hotel terrace. The Locanda is in a small hamlet above the little town of Roccasecca. Our room was lovely, with a large comfortable bed, a modern bathroom and antique furniture. The air-conditioning was welcome after a long day's travelling. We had dinner on the terrace, and were very impressed with the tastiness of the food, especially my home-made burrata-filled ravioli with crayfish and tomato sauce. This was a great start to our holiday.”
