Never having been to Gijon before I am sorry to say, what a gorgeous place it is the sea front is long and a great place to walk for a couple of hours. My only problem was that 4 days was not long enough to see everything but a good excuse to return next year and guess where we will stop ?? Yep La Colina”
“Stylish hotel at the edge of cliffs; on the east side you have a marvellous view on the cliffs; staff very friendly; parking place in front of the hotel; quiet area - nothing but nature; delicious breakfast - every day some other delicious dishes; very good wifi; small dishes and drinks are served from 09:00 - 21:00 which is fair enough - you can enjoy the view and the sun (if shining) and have a coffee or a drink and some snacks”

“My favorite hotel close to gijon -away from city noise, gorgeous views of the sea, cliffs, empty wild beaches nearby unlike the peopled beaches of gijon, beautiful walk into gijon of 30min or so along the sea, very nice service and quiet comfortable rooms. Would recommend it to anyone doing the Camino - worth the hike up there to have these views and quiet country experience.”
