“The staff were all excellent; pleasant and ever helpful. The head chef and colleagues in the kitchen deserve special mention. The meals in the evening were outstanding and the menu changed every day. There was a wide choice of main plus two specials. The fish was particularly good. Continental breakfast had plenty of choice and the croissants were indeed extra flaky! The bed was very comfortable and the shower was excellent and the settee in the room was a bonus. The bus service from St Peter Port was every 30 minutes and stopped outside the hotel. An onward journey was included in the price of the ticket which cost £1 to travel anywhere. I cannot remember a hotel where we have been so well received and so well fed.”
