“Amazing hot spring bath within hotel facility. There is classic dry sauna too! Bath (ofuro) are consist of 3 big indoor baths and two big outdoor. They are gender separated. Bufet style all you can eat is OK. Hotel staff can somehow speak English.”
“- The staff were pleasant and polite, but not in the usual dead-eyed cold ultra-polite way, it actually seemed like they liked working there. This added to the general atmosphere. - The onsen is medium sized, with good use of space and several different pools. There is also an sauna and jacuzzi after 2pm. - Both the dinner and breakfast buffet had good selections and all of the food tasted great. - The direct bus from Shinjuku is extremely convenient, especially if you have luggage. - There is another bus that frequently goes directly to nearby Kusatsu town, which has free onsen, restaurants and shops.”
