“Awesome house to stay over night. Good location, excellent breakfast, incredible value for money and very nice owner! Top highlights: try Kirschentorte in the restaurant and walk a bit through the planet way in the town.”

“We had a room with balcony with nice view over the mountains. Kirchenwirt Ahrer provided a summer card which gave us 50% discount to the swimming pool next to the hotel. Food was very good, both breakfast and dinner. We were cycling along Ennsradweg and stopped in Grossraming to do a side trip on Hintergebirgsradweg. We did not realise there was was a holiday in Austria that day and the shops were closed but Kirchenwirt Ahrer prepared us packed lunches.”

“We loved the breakfast, lots of fresh strawberries, fresh fruit salad and a selection of breads and cereals, which we made full use of! Being vegetarians, we did not have any of the most impressive selections of cheeses, sliced meats or other wonderful looking stuff, but it looked like the other guests did! Good sized rooms, and we had a balcony room with wonderful mountain views across the Enns valley. The proprietress was very friendly and helpful. A small supermarket is almost directly across the road, and a bakery almost next door.”

“Nice rural hotel, nothing fancy but well-situated for my ends. Good, freshly made and home prepared food in the restaurant with good beers and nice wines for a very moderate price. All in all a fine place to stay.”

“Die Unterkunft liegt oberhalb von Großraming und ist gut mit dem Auto erreichbar. Die Zimmer sind einfach, aber zweckmäßig eingerichtet und sind sehr sauber gewesen. Das Restaurant ist für Abendessen in Ordnung, aber nichts besonderes. Das Frühstück ist sehr reichhaltig und gut, es gibt viel Auswahl an Schinken, Käse, Müsli, Joghurt, Obst, verschiedene Brote und Brötchen sowie Kaffee und Säfte. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und bemüht, morgens sowie abends. Auskünfte zu Ausflügen und Aktivitäten werden gerne gegeben.”

“Wir waren bewußt zum 2.Mal für mehrere Tage da und es hat uns wieder ausnehmend gut gefallen. Schöne Zimmer mit Blick auf die Berge, ein tolles Frühstück und ein sehr gutes Restaurant am Abend, nette Mitarbeiter und eine super-Chefin, die unaufdringlich auch gute Wandertips gibt und Ausleihkarten anbietet. Bei vielen Restaurantgästen werden unaufgefordert Tische für die Hausgäste freigehalten und unter den Bäumen mit dem Blick auf die Kirche sitzen wir sehr gerne, auch die Plätze drinnen sind ok. Sauberkeit, Service ... alles spitze, unkompliziert und ein wirklich tolles Gasthaus.”

“We werden vriendelijk en gastvrij ontvangen door de gastvrouw. Na het brengen van onze bagage naar de kamer kregen we een heerlijk welkomstbier op het balkon bij de eetzaal van het hotel wat een geweldig uitzicht heeft over een vallei. 's Avonds hebben we ook heerlijk gegeten in het hotel waarbij de gastvrouw gekookt heeft voor ons met goede plaatselijke ingrediënten.”
