“It is in a good location, walking distance to the fort (short cut up the hill) and close to the clock tower and markets area. There is a good view from the restaurant, however I was a bit travel tired to really enjoy it. The staff were friendly and good for the most part, with suggestions of where to go. But the directions were a bit vague so make sure you've a good idea of where you're going. When one of the staff said they would show me something, in the end this didn't happen. The room was good but basic. The aircon struggled a little to keep the room cool and was a bit noisy, but it was still ok for sleeping.”

“Loved our stay in King's Retreat. The staff are very friendly and helpful, they gave us a map of Jodhpur and told us all the things to do and see. Location is great, about a 10 minute walk to Mehrangarh Fort. Kapil (the manger) is absolutely lovely and when he found out we were getting a night train after we checked out he let us use one of the rooms to have a shower which was so greatly appreciated”

Location couldn't have been better, room with air conditioning was excellent and the restaurant upstairs had the best food we tried in Jodhpur.”
