“I was given a complimentary upgrade from the Budget Single Room I had booked to a Superior Double Room with a great balcony, without asking. The 24 hr reception staff were excellent, friendly and very informative, answering my questions very happily. The location of the hotel was excellent, less than 10 min easy walk to both Monastiraki and Syntagma Squares and just a little further to the Acropolis. There are many tavernas and cafés close by. Despite it's excellent location, the hotel is on a small, quiet street and even though I had a corner room overlooking that street and a smaller side lane, I was not troubled by street noise, and I am a light sleeper. You will hear the bells of Athen's Greek Orthodox Cathedral, which is close-by, striking the time, but it did not trouble me and added to the atmosphere.”

“Next to the Cathedral, few minutes walking from Syntagma Square and not too far from Acropolis. I was there for the Marathon and early in the morning the staff gave me a little bag with electrolites and some food, really kind!”

“The staff was very helpful and friendly. The hotel had just started providing a mobile phone in the rooms that can be taken out to help with navigation. That was a nice surprise. There was also a small cabinet under the sink to store toiletries in. Our room on the 2nd floor had a balcony w/a table and 2 chairs. The rooftop deck was also very pleasant.”
