“The bathroom was amazing. A shower and bath area separated from the toilet area that allows you to partake in a private Ibsen. The staff went out of their way to help, even holding our bags overnight when we travelled to Hiroshima! A little off centre from the centre of old town, but everything is a pleasant walk away (river, old town etc.)”
“The staff were amazing and assisted us with getting to know the area and organizing day trips and transport. They all spoke English making communication easy. The location was brilliant, only 10-15 minute walk to amazing food, coffee, transport and Kiyomizu-dera. The room and bathroom was large, family friendly and beautifully clean. The location was quiet at night but only a short walk to shops, restaurants and nightlife.”

“Authentic small accommodation in the south of famous Gion district (10min walking distance to main area through old original lanes), very welcoming and kind staff, trying to help whenever they can, twin room was spacious (compared to Japanese standard) and has a large onsen style bathroom and large closet (which seems to be rare in Japan as well) everything was bright new and clean, good wifi, kids didn't pay for sleeping in existing beds and were very welcome”
