“Located across the castle park, it is a very nice stately hotel with a good atmosphere. Breakfast overlooking the castle park was very nice. My friends got upgraded to a very nice size room. Breakfast is a combination of western and Japanese food and very good. Rooms are very clean and everything worked.”

“The room is postage-stamp size, and we had only 2 hangers each and no closet, which meant living out of a suitcase. But the location is perfect--cross the street and you are in the castle grounds. Restaurants are limited nearby, but the hotel is only 1 km away from everything so easily walkable as the city is quite flat. The staff knew who we were immediately, even though there were lots of Westerners in the hotel.”
