“Breakfast was good and had everything you required. A nice touch is the freshly pressed orange juice for breakfast instead of the normal orange juice out of the bottle. Evening meal was good, but nothing out of the ordinary. Rooms are on the small side, but tidy and clean. Bathroom is small, but clean. Hotel staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is above St Claude and the view over the town at night is beautiful.”

“We had to wait an hour to check in we were there at 16.00 and a note on the Hotel door said that the manager would be back a 17.00. Luckily there is a friendly bar right next door. Room was freshly renovated and clean, tidy, Restaurant evenings: Food was good Service no so, we had to wait for a Long time for our main Course they had forgotten us. Breakfast for a Franch Hotel was very good.”

“This hotel is located as close as possible to the train station, you come here to do the Ligne des Hirondelles, one of the nicest train itineraries of France. The hotel also has a restaurant that offers fine dining with a view on the city below. Ask to go on the restaurant's exterior balcony, you'll be able to take some nice pictures of the arched bridges and the waterfall of the river below. Overall value for the money is quite good.”

“The manager was extremely helpful and friendly. We were given a room allowing walking outside and the view of Saint-Claude was very good. It is a basic hotel but we enjoyed our stay. The restaurant served good food. Well priced.”
