“The location is central to the main tourist area of Julian. Everything is within walking distance. The facility was nicely decorated, and the private bathroom attached to our room was immaculate. They had tables set up in the breakfast/tea area where you could play one of the games they had set out or your own, and you could help yourself to coffee and tea and cookies late into the night. There were nice seating areas on the first floor, with some interesting historic pictures on the walls. The breakfast was good with lots of variety and they made efforts to accommodate our food allergies, which we appreciated.”

“Julian Hotel was like staying in someone's beautiful home. The staff was so welcoming. Everything about it was warm and quaint. It was very 'time period correct' with many antiques, but with all of the modern conveniences. The breakfast was simply delightful. 5:00 tea in the parlor was such a nice touch. After dinner we'd return to the parlor to play dominoes. They keep all kinds of games available.”
