“Had an amazing view of the sunrise, close to many cool attractions and truly enjoyed all that the hotel had to offer. Only disappointment was breakfast being kimchi stew or seaweed soup. But its Korea, right? All and all a great value for the dollar.”
“Great location, great staff, great hotel. Nice modern layout and the convenience store in the hotel foyer is very handy. Beautiful views from the beach room - highly recommended. Very close to so many good restaurants. You should definitively go to Jeju Island, stay at this hotel and eat BBQ Pork!! Yum!”
“Really great value for money, clean rooms where we just crashed out at night and left during the day. The hotel manager, Mr Shin requires a huge acknowledgement. He was just fantastic, helped all customers, made everyone feel welcome and comfortable. Although more basic than other hotels, we would stay there again because of him.”
“The breakfast was just Asian. They had one kinda jam and bread. No fruits. No other western food not even eggs. So to start with that breakfast was every morning a sad start.”
“The hotel is literally beach front, it is less than a five-minute walk to the beach. I did not expect such a wonderful breakfast, and there were delicious dinner options available; the best part of this is you have a great view of the ocean! In addition, the staff was extremely nice. On the day of check-in, my friends and I had arrived a couple hours early exhausted and in need of a nap. The man (I didn't get to catch his name) but he let us check in early, as well as updated our hotel room to have three separate beds instead of sharing one. I also happened to spill coffee all over my bed, and after I told the clerk, by the time I left and came back it was all nice and clean. There are so many things easily accessible near the hotel, including a convenience store downstairs attached to the building. Also, there was paddleboarding, kayaking, and snorkeling maybe a 15-minute walk from the hotel. Overall, I would definitely stay here again.”
“Staff were indeed very friendly and helpful. One big problem I have is being expected to share one bath towel with my wife. To have to pay for a second towel is simply ridiculous. The culture in Jeju ( South Korea) is clearly different and it was a surprise to have no real bar facilities at the hotel. This being said, you could still not even order a bottle of wine ass all 4 bottles of wine had been drunk by Sunday night. Never to be replenished !! No ice, no normal glasses??? Very foreign to us from the west, but we must accept their way of doing things. Staff could have been a bit more progressive in advising on island maps etc and how to use buses. Bus schedule had changed and there were a lot less buses running. This was however not updated on the web site. Many places also closed due to their national holiday taking place during the week. However, buses were always on time and majority of drivers very helpful. Room very comfortable. Kind regards Newton King”
“The location on Hamdoek beach is great with fantastic views from the Blue Room. The staff were very helpful with information on sightseeing.”
“Some staff speak good English, which is rare in Jeju. helpful too.”
“The location of the hotel right in front of the famous Hamdeok Beach makes this hotel a good place to stay if you like a quite beach holiday”
“This was our second stay here. It is a great location to explore Hamdeok beach. The free beer in the evening is also nice. View from the rooms is great.”
