“Safe haven • Yummy food • Beautiful location • Best Hospitality Ashiq, Sajid and family are extremely warm and kind hosts. It's a family run hotel on Dal lake, stable and great. I was able to stay safely by myself, enjoy the boat rides and eat delicious home-cooked food. As Ashiq assured from the get go, I sure did feel at home with their hospitality. Sajid's boat ride in the morning to the floating vegetable market left me in awe. The food and Kahwa tea by their mother made my stay worthy. Overall, Island hotel was ideal for me to enjoy solitude while being cared for by a thoughtful host family. I shall definitely return here soon and again, with friends/family/alone.”
