“The geographical position of Ilingas makes it unique. As simple as the nature of the place where it is located, with a direct access to the beach of a little bay few meters far from the hotel surrounded by a mountain wall. You can even enjoy the little quiet garden of the restaurant terrace. Free wi-fi. Tasty and well cooked food from the restaurant. The owner Nikos deserves a mention for his sympathy and warm welcoming!”

“I recommend to hire this hotel if you plan trek to Loutro, enjoy snorkeling in Illignas beach, not very far Sweetwater beach or if you plan to make a trip uphill to Anapoli and first of all spend couple of days in really calm location deep in the gorge few steps from the sea. Specific but very compliant owner, helped us a lot when we had troubles with car.”

“The location is obvious if you look at the pictures or any map. You are IN the place. Rooms are basic but very clean and the views are spectacular. (You need to pass the slight grim looking halls - at the purest thai guesthouse style). Breakfast is very nice too. Very close to the small village but you will need a car to get here. The sea is amazing. You can take a day or half a day boat tour to Loutros. TOTALLY WORTH IT. If you like hiking you can hike there and come back by boat or viceversa (maybe not during the hottest months). The family who runs the place is very friendly and helpful.”

“It's the third time staying here. Perfect place, owner and price/value ratio. It won't fit needs for those, who like comfortable and expensive staying, but for others - charming place to stay at least for a night during your trip across Crete.”
