“We most appreciated the degree to which this resort ensures that it delivers on the promise that its guests will be pampered from the minute they register to the moment of departure. There is no question that the fare in their restaurants, one of which closed the night following our arrival, is very expensive. However, the meals, especially a zucchini soup like none we have tasted before, are memorable. Congratulations to all for the degree of excellence we enjoyed. To be repeated, we hope.”

“WOW! One of the most luxurious hotel I have ever been too... and the best people watching EVER! We had an ocean view room with a large balcony and I could have cried when I saw the view. After 10 days having many adventures around Italy this view and beach was the perfect spot. The service was 5 star all the way. The restaurants were gorgeous. You don't leave the property (or at least I wouldn't) also if you really have to ask how much things cost this place is probably not for you. I also let them know we were celebrating a special occasion and they went out of their way to make it extra special.”

I have stayed at countless of what is considered amongst the best hotels in the world but this is the one and only above them all. I cannot recommend it enough, and I wish that I started visiting Il Pellicano earlier in my life because nothing else compares.”

“This is a beautiful property with a most peaceful setting. The panoramic views from the restaurants are very pretty. The service was wonderful. We loved the breakfast buffet. Dinner was wonderful because of the setting, but my pasta was a bit under cooked and the turbot fillet was nothing special. The mosquitoes were out in force, but the staff provided bug spray. We ate at the Grill and perhaps the other restaurant would have been a better choice. Our room was large with a wonderful private balcony that was also quite spacious. We only spent one night because that was all that was available when we booked. We plan to return in the Fall for a longer stay.”
