“I have stayed at this hotel previously and will always stay there when I am in Kyoto. The location is fabulous - across the road from the Kyoto Museum, next door to my favourite temple and a very pleasant half hour walk along a river side to the city centre. The interior of the hotel is simply beautiful.The hotel dining room and restaurants are excellent. Every evening there is a happy hour in the lobby where free champagne is served and a trainee geisha in full costume sings and dances. The surrounding streets have dozens of options for quick, cheap excellent meals.”
