“Very nice sit-down breakfast. Great little town -- quiet and next to the Mosel. The owner has his own winery and little art gallery -- very neat! We stayed in the family loft over the winery, which is nice. It is on the 3rd floor with the private bathroom on the 2nd floor, so if stairs are an issue you might want to look elsewhere.”

We had the family room, which was a generous and well-appointed small suite with kitchen facilities. I would certainly go back.”

“The village of Burg is situated in the vineyards on the Mosel river. The setting could not be more picturesque. The owners are uniquely talented and generous hosts. We were included in an intimate wine tasting - all in all a great introduction to what the area has to offer. We left feeling like friends and hoping to return.”

“The proprietors, Ana and Heintz are cordial and welcoming. Ana cooks and the meals are fresh and wholesome and good. Heintz makes wine. He has an interesting sense of humor and shares good stories if you attend his wine tasting. The place as a whole is cozy and conducive to relaxation. It is set among the vineyards”
