“If you're looking for a true Italian experience, this is your place! Don't expect boring luxury that you can find in top hotels. This is an authentic place, managed by an Italian family (I assume). They are super friendly and helped us with everything we asked. The breakfast is delicious - they serve great coffee, many types of croissants, Italian cold cuts, cereals etc. There's also a lake just next to the hotel! Great base for vineyards trips - we slept there 6 nights and every day we went to a different vineyard. Easy to get there from Pisa/Florence by car (highway most of the time).”

“Lovely family-run country hotel. The family and staff were very welcoming and helpful, and we got good advice on places to visit and local ammenities. The room, ensuite bathroom, and all linen was spotlessly clean, and neatly prepared for us each day. We looked forward to our plentiful daily breakfast. Mara, the lady who served us each day, is so extremely cheerful and bright and is truly a treasure. The hotel overlooks a lake, and is surrounded by extensive grounds with flowers, fruit trees, shady areas for sitting, and also a large area for parking. The train station San Giovanni Valdarno is just a few minutes drive away, which we found ideal for train travel to Florence. We enjoyed several other day-trips to nearby places of interest, all a convenient drive from the hotel. We would love to return for another stay. ”

“The personnel was really friendly and looking to help you as much as they could. The breakfast was also a nice surprise as we expected something light but it was actually pretty well served with a choice of italian cheese and processed meats, italian pastries, cereals, bread, biscottes, ... The hotel does not have a restaurant inside but there's a restaurant called La Gatta Nera a few hundred meters away which looks simple but where the food is delicious and typical.”

“The view from the room window was beautiful. The room and the bathroom was a bit small but clean. The location was superb on the best part of the lake. Very peaceful yet 10 min drive to town. Breakfast was good and the service during the breakfast was exceptional. Thanks for the lady with a nice smile and sparkling blue eyes. After settling down in the room a glass of wine on the terrace looking to the lake close to dawn was something not to forget. No parking problem. Free Wi-Fi.”
