“Room and hotel fantastic. Sara the hotel manager was very helpful. Bed was comfortable and supportive. Freshly squeezed orange juice at breakfast. Chilled out vibe. Good choice for a hotel if you are independent (not for high maintenance types) as although the breakfast is laid out you have to make your own tea and coffee and help yourself. This suited us down to the ground as did the area of Alaro. Great community feel in the town, plenty of places to eat out. Sa Fonda (local cuisine available) and Buffalo (italian) were our favourites for value and quality. Also good bus service for the train connection to many parts of the island. Good base for walking and bike hire:Max Huerzler rental in the town with very friendly staff”
