“We drive to Austria and always book a stop over en route. This hotel has a superb location next to lake with mountain back drop and is a mini Zell am Zee; without the crowds..... The hotel has a nice laid back feel to it and the staff are extremely helpful and polite; rooms are way above average. For dinner we ate in the hotel restaurant which overlooks the lake, from the set menu and it was high quality and good value. Breakfast is buffet style, again overlooking the lake and is excellent covering all tastes, even egg bacon and sausage.”
“Excellent boutique style hotel with very good restaurant... right on lake Hopfensee with a magnificent view... easy access to lake promenade... close to Fuessen, Hohenschwanstein and Neuschwanstein castles... staff very helpful in arranging tickets for castles... free parking at hotel... caution, some rooms have no view of lake... but all rooms were very clean and comfortable... with nice bathrooms... our friends used their spa and were very happy with the service... dinner and breakfast were excellent... would stay there again...”

“The location is stunning with a beautiful view over the lake, we had a large suite that was well furnished and very clean. The spa bath was a real luxury and well used. The breakfast was very good with a wide selection including freshly squeezed or juice.”

It's really close to Füssen just only 5 minutes by car and only 10mins to Neuschwantein Castle. Very good breakfast with self-squeezed orange juices. Plenty of car park around the hotel area together with good restaurants around. We will definitely come back there again.”
