OK so it is marked up as a 2 star, Yes its a little run down at present, due to the previous owners. but the refurbishments are underway, and in our opinion this is at present a 3 star The Place as been recently taken over and we were made very welcome All the staff were very friendly and courteous Parking is free The food was fantastic, and the room was clean and very comfortable and had a very well stocked Bar There was a New years party, we didn't attend, as the menu wasn't to our liking, but having spoken to other guests, they thoroughly enjoyed it Will definitely stay there again”

“What a lovely location right on the water in a great little village. Had a balcony room so could really enjoy the views. Deck area really comfortable too. Beautiful room (Overton) spotlessly clean with stunning little modern bathroom. One of the best all_round hotels we have stayed in. Had meal in house one evening and another in the King's Head. Excellently situated for sightseeing this delightful part of the world. Lovely log fire in bar to have a night cap.”
