“The hotel is right in the old city. It is across the street from the train station, if you are considering traveling there by train. Of course, inside the hotel it is quiet. The rooms are nicely appointed and clean. The breakfast buffet is great and served in a spacious dining room. The owner welcomes you personally, and we had the feeling she went out of her way to make our stay as pleasant as possible.”

“Convenient for us to get to Koblenz. Good local pub up the road a couple of blocks, that was full of friendly staff and locals and which served good local food. We were upgraded to a room with a balcony which was lovely but remember this hotel is right next to the railway line so it can get a bit noisy. Take earplugs.”
“It was an excellent location to start our bicycle trip, with secure storage for our bikes. There was a very good Italian restaurant beside the river and very close by. The hotel breakfast was superb!”
“The room was large and comfortable with best hotel bed we've ever slept in, room was also very clean as was the whole hotel. The view from the room terrace was lovely. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful with adequate choice. The hotel is situated next to the railway station but we never really noticed the trains, and is only a couple of minutes walk to the bank of the Rhine and it's beautiful views. We will definitely be returning.”

“Ein familiengeführtes Hotel dieser Kategorie gehört leider bedauerlicherweise der "aussterbenden Spezies" an. Die sehr persönliche Fürsoge, Ansprache und Erfüllung auch besonderer Wünsche zeichnet dieses Hotel einfach besonders aus. Da ich z.B. keine Kuhmilchprodukte vertrage, wurde kurzerhand Käse aus Schafsmilch angeboten, serviert auf einem liebevoll angerichteten Teller voller Rohköstlichkeiten. Statt der Kuhmilch konnte ich auf meine heißgeliebte Hafermilch zurückgreifen. Trotz des gebuchten Standart-Zimmers bekam ich wieder ein Design-Zimmer, das wirklich geschmackvoll ausgestattet ist. Ich werde immer wieder, sobald ich nach Lahnstein fahre, dieses Hotel buchen!”
