“Very clean and nice small hotel. Owners (really nice and fiendly old couple) are also on spot all the time and serving breakfast etc. It feels like visiting grand parents :)”
“This hotel was really exceptional from the moment we arrived so late due to train delays. We were welcomed and shown to our room. The breakfast was all served at the table. Everything you could possibly want was catered for. We would definitely return if we are in this area again. We also ate in the restaurant which was very good and with views of the canal traffic.”

Everything from the old style decor of the Hotel, the very friendly and accommodating staff and last but certainly not least the brilliant location overlooking the channel watching the ships pass by including sitting outside in the sunshine with a beer in hand. We also enjoyed both Dinner and Breakfast in the restaurant - wonderful food and service. Consider this Hotel to have been one of the best that we stayed in whilst on our travels (in excess of a month) in Austria, Germany and Denmark. We would definately stay there again given the chance. Highly recommended.”
