“Stayed at the Virgilio 5 years ago and if anything the place is even better now. The room was spacious and modern as was the bathroom. The air-con was good and it needed to be as it was 36+ degrees during our visit. Plenty of room in the free car park. Free bike rental is a real bonus as it gives visitors the opportunity to check out the town and lake area where the bars and restaurants are situated. Riva is very bike friendly. The breakfast is good but the outside area in particular was very busy as the Hotel was being used by a Coach Trip Company. Didn't try the restaurant for this reason. The pool area is nice with a few umbrellas and beds and there is a separate Jacuzzi. There is a separate smaller pool for little ones.”
