“Villa Gaia is a 10 minute walk to the center of Cortina. We liked not being in all the hub-bub. The view from the back rooms is spectacular. The rooms are modern and clean. The breakfast is great. This is a family run B&B, and the family is wonderful. This was our favorite place to stay in our two weeks in the Dolomites.”
“Simply a lovely place, very clean and spacious, charming hosts, amazing scenery to wake up with in the morning. highly recommend.”
“The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, they gave us a map and told us about the local hiking, lifts and where we could pick up a few things for the rest of our upcoming trip. Breakfasts were great and the gentleman who helped during the breakfast hours was charming. The room fit our family of three nicely. It had a lovely balcony with fabulous views. They were kind with my poor Italian language skills. They were accommodating with leaving our car and storing our extra luggage while we were trekking for a week. We would highly recommend visiting this lovely hotel.”
“The view was awesome. I woke up at 6am with the intention to go back to sleep for another hour. I decided to take a quick peak from the window at the mountains before going back to sleep. Needless to say I didn't go back to bed. I put on a jacket and walking shoes and went for a walk along a country path, only a short 10 minute walk from the hote. The breakfast was pretty nice too.”
“Easy walking distance into Cortina. Easy parking. Best view over the mountains”
“Nice staff! the breakfast is really good but there was no thin cheese or vegetables like tomato, cucumber etc. Nice room with kettle and tea!”
“I like the view, the location, parking on the permisis.”
“Friendly staff, beautiful location. I requested a room with a balcony and view, and they fullfilled my request. Breakfast was great as well, good coffee... the view from the balcony was excellent!”
“Lovely comfortable, friendly family-run hotel with beautiful views. The electric kettle with tea/coffee in the room was greatly appreciated and the breakfasts were excellent. Good bicycle storage.”
“We love all the facilities of the place. Cute house, extremely friendly staff, and very clean rooms. Center of Cortina was a quick 10 minute walk from the hotel. Hotel room was nice, offering a separate area with a bunk bed for children. Room had an incredible view of the Dolomites. Breakfast was nice--bread, meat, cheese, boiled eggs, and an assortment of drinks. Free parking. Highly recommend.”
