“a beautiful building with an extensive well-maintained garden. The decor was interesting and idiosyncratic. Our room was decorated in an oriental style. We had a large room with its own patio area outside with table and chairs, and a rather small bath. There was a fridge, a safe, and air conditioning, although to start with we didn't realise the instructions were inside the handset. The swimming pool was lovely with plenty of sun loungers and tables and chairs by it. Breakfast was excellent, in a large elegant room, extending to a sunny terrace. There was a wide selection of cereals, cheeses, cold meats, scrambled eggs and bacon, with plenty of fresh bread, croissants, yoghurts, and fresh juices. There is no restaurant, but there is an expensive bar. We stayed for six days as we liked it so much.”
