“A newly renovated hotel, with style and guest comfort in mind. The room was warm, had a great bed, and a powerful shower. We had a perfectly relaxed evening staying in Villa Groet, and nothing seemed too much trouble for our wonderful host. Next time we are in Avenhorn we will certainly be back!”

“The hotel is in a strastegic position: not far from Amsterdam (about half an hour by train), close to Volendam, the mills and the coast. The room was big and confortable (we enjoyed the hot bath spa tub! :) the hotel is placed in a calm and peaceful area but you can find anything you want in the village or else in Hoorn, the town at 10 minutes by car (from there you can reach Amsterdam by train). The staff is very nice, don't hesitate to ask any question to Barry, he will explain you everything you need plus some very useful tipps for your stay. Last but not least, the breakfast: plenty of titbits for just 10 €!”
