“An old hotel in the center of the old town, close to the cathedral which is absolutely worth a visit. Good reception, a large room and a comfortable bed. Wifi worked ok, breakfast good with savoury options. As in most Italian hotelrooms the lighting was not too good and especially here the bedside lamps did not allow for reading. The friendly lady in reception was extremely kind and directly searched the hotel for an additional lamp so that reading in the room became possible.”

“First of all the lovely hotel is in the main part of town from where lots of restaurants and sites {churches} could be reached by foot. The hotel had many interesting parts i.e. a staircase lit up to show well below into the cellars and original foundation. Breakfast was plentiful and well presented.”
“Smartly updated town centre hotel in an historic street. Pleasantly surprised and excellent value for money. We were walking the Via Francigena and found it a perfect stopover. Our room in the attic was lovely with a small balcony - with views across medieval rooftops to the countryside. We were a bit worried when told it was in the attic (we had just walked 22 km) but relieved to find there is a lift!”
