What guests loved the most

“The building, the staff, the setting and the view were fantastic. Breakfast-typically Italian-was excellent but wouldn't suit the "full English breakfast" brigade (the bread was wonderful). Dinner was superb and all complemented by the most wonderful dining room and breakfast room. The peace, quiet, the gardens and the surrounding olive groves were a wonderful counterpoint to a very busy holiday visiting the 3 magical villas (Gregoriana, D'Este and Adriana) in Tivoli.”

“Beautiful old building set in a very serene and beautiful landscape with fantastic view over Tivoli. The swimming pool was fabulous too, shame there were only a few sun loungers available.”

“Great location if you travel by car. It had a tour bus arrive each evening but this did not impact us greatly as they arrived late and were gone before we got up in the morning and the breakfast area replenished.”

“Nice location with a nice walk into the town. The pool area is beautiful. When we went the restaurant was closed so I can't comment. The staff were friendly, although there were very few of them around when we were there. ”

“This is a boutique hotel situated out of town so if you don't have a car it's a walk into town which can be a little perilous with no actual walkway. The hotel trades on its location with amazing views and a nice pool. Other than that we found it totally bereft of creature comforts. The bar and restaurant were both closed for the duration of our stay. Outside of breakfast there was not even a cup of tea available. Our sheets were not changed, the rooms were tiny, the shower was not fixed, the water in the tap was a drizzle, the staff were totally unaccomodating and seemed nonplussed that we were unhappy with not being able to get food or drink. I could go on but I think you get the picture. I'm an easy going person and willing to make allowances but there was no give and take here. Take it or leave it seemed to be the attitude. There are good restaurants in town particularly Sibilla.”
