What guests loved the most

“Paul the owner was so helpful and kind and so were his staff. Nothing was to much trouble. He helped us plan our sight seeing even when we stayed at another place a few days before. He was also really helpful in arranging to pick us up from our campsite so we didn't have to walk. What a gentleman. He was really responsive on email. We took up a full day tour and it was the best decision ever so much information and insight plus he planned it around what we wanted to do rather than give us a set itinerary. You will learn so much more with Paul than any other guide, not only about the sights but the islands culture etc. The place was so clean and beds super comfy and friendly dogs.Paul was kind enough to let us use his kitchen so we could cook to save money and he saw that I loved the chocolate cereal so always made sure there was plenty. Breakfast was the best we have had yet. ”

, United Kingdom

“the owner paul has a lot of knowledge about the ancient rapa nui culture. you should book a tour with him. it's worth it!”

, Germany

“Paul was a lovely host who always greets you with a smile and goes out of his way to be helpful to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The apartments were large and spacious with an outdoor deck.”

, India

“Stayed for 7 days and rented a scooter. Staff is very friendly. Paul, the owner, is very communicative, helpful, and knowledgeable with a great disposition. He is ready to offer advice and practical solutions for everything. Overall, the accommodations were a great value and well-located. Peaceful and spacious grounds with a good view of sunset and private feeling. Bed is comfortable and made daily. Breakfast is good and tea is always available. Laundry services are also available for a very small fee. Also there are two very friendly dogs on the property.”

, Netherlands

“I'm so lucky that can be stayed at this hotel. The owner, Paul is extremely kind and helpful, i don't need to worry about how to get there as he has already arranged someone to pick me from/to the airport. Staying there just like staying with friend !!! Highly recommended!!”

, Hong Kong

“Clean hotel. Great stuff. Quiet. Owner really did his best to make my stay as good as possible.”

, Austria

“Spacious and comfortable accommodation which was well furnished and spotless. We had the option of having breakfast with other guests or by ourselves on our own balcony, which had a view overlooking the sea. The property is about 10-15 walk from the town centre. We were met by the hosts at the airport who also left us back there. The owner Paul is extremely knowledgeable about the island, having himself been part of a team who did some restoration work in the 1960s. We were really glad that we took two half day tours with him. He shared many insights and facts with us as well as anecdotes about his wife's family, themselves islanders.”

, United Kingdom

“wonderful caring hosts (help with the car, airport pickup, laundry,...) very nice breakfast (toast, jam, cheese, avocado, tomato, musli, tee, coffee) great option for everyone to use the Veranda/ Terasse with this nice view towards the ocean”

, Germany

“Really nice staff and rooms were really comfortable, would recommend to families. Also warm welcome and farewell by the hotel staff.”

, Australia

“Paul was a great host - very knowledgable, welcoming and always happy to help. The room was very clean and quite sizable and everything was very clean! The location was perfect - a little walk into town but it was nice and quiet which is what we loved!”
