“The staff was friendly and there was a great view of the surrounding mountains from the hotel. The hotel seemed clean and was reasonably comfortable and came at a good price.”
“The old side of the hotel had very traditional feeling to it (note that toilets and showers are shared facilities). The new side of the hotel offered very nice and modern rooms (toilet and shower in the rooms) and facilities compared to the old side. Breakfast was good!”
“Very nice staff, my stay was next door in the other part of hotel which had all double rooms with ensuite, very clean and nice size television. Reviews were about main hotel that have rooms without bathrooms. Restaurant food very good and busy on Friday night due to a popular place for Skiing with locals on weekends. Skiing recommended- 1.5 hours from Zurich Airport. I was on business trip and had a couple of days spare- good excuse to get some skiing in.”
“I was worried when I booked this hotel because I thought it looked a little bland and soulless in the pictures. However, it exceeded all our expectations. The staff were wonderful, food lovely but more importantly the atmosphere was perfect, a buzz but without buzzing too much.”
“The hotel experience was very Alpine. Small, wood-paneled rooms and creaking wood floors. Great location, easy walk up to the ski lifts. AMAZING views out the window. Also, the hotel restaurant was a big hit. Pretty expensive but standard for Switzerland, but good food and drinks, and a kids room they could walk to from the dining room, so the parents could stay and eat. Overall a classic Swiss ski lodge experience, would go back!”
