“This charming hotel is right in the center of the city. It is beautifully decorated and the rooms are both spacious and lovely in an old-world way. The beds were really comfortable, with unusually nice fluffy pillows (hard to find in Europe.) We didn't hear a sound the entire night, another rarity. The staff is really wonderful. We didn't get to spend much time in the hotel, but what we saw of the dining room and breakfast facilities was really impressive. We visit Groningen often and I'm looking forward to staying here again. The parking is in a garage that is a short walk from the hotel. I advise reserving a spot in advance. It is a bit less expensive and will assure you a parking place in a city that is severely lacking in them.”
“Large room with an antique feel however it had modern touches like a large spa tub and TV. The room was clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly and the restaurant was good. Location was great.”
