The island smelt like a flower shop, we had a view of Strombolini volcano from our bedroom, the terrace and breakfast were superb and the host Francesco couldn't have been more interesting on the history of Salinas and Italy. Easily the lovliest place we stayed.. if you want a boat, you just shout over the balcony and its arranged.. The decoration of the whole house / hotel was absolutely wonderful and v. stylish. We will be coming back..”
