What guests loved the most

“The views from the room, the location, and the patio. ”

, France

“This building was built in the late 1600's. It was really special to stay in a a place so steeped in history and eat breakfast where the conquistadors kept their prisoners. The atrium is magnificent as is the view from the rooftop terrace. The room was comfortable and I loved the period doors with privacy screens. Jimmy at the front desk was excellent, very helpful. The historical center of town is very accessible from this location, you can walk and explore anywhere.”

, USA

“Hotel was too basic. Staff was great and very helpful! But facilities weren't good. No water in the room, no hand towel. Rooms liners weren't comfortable, beds too old and very noisy hotel. It looks more than a motel inside the rooms than a boutique hotel. Hotel structure and patio were very pretty, lots of history but not great as a hotel.”

, USA

“The hotel was in a great location and good value for money. The room was a little more "bare bones" than we expected from the photos. It was ok, but nothing to write home about. Older furnishings and linens. Very spacious though, and good hot water and water pressure. The front desk staff was very helpful with directions and taxis. But the decor and history of the hotel is very interesting, it has a really pretty courtyard, and it's centrally located in the historic center, which is great for walking around!”

, USA

“Perfectly located in the center of Quito.Almost everything can be reached by foot...The indoor area next to the reception is very nice and green, nice view from the roof top terrace. ”

, Brazil

“Very friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast buffet”

, Austria

“Very cozy hotel with lovely courtyard and fascinating caves like place for breakfast where supposedly victims of the Spanish Inquisition were interred. rRoomy room with nice view.”

, Russia

“Beautiful building. Like a museum that we liked to sit and have a beverage.”

, Canada

“The history of the hotel was very interesting. The location is perfect and the beds were comfortable.”

, USA

“Loved the interior decor - plants everywhere! It's a peaceful haven despite being in the centre of the Old Town. Rooms are great and breakfast is tasty. Staff are friendly and helpful too.”
