“This is my second stay here. The town/village was a very popular spa town and the hotel was a grand design serving high class customers. The spas appear to have fallen on hard times and the hotel has a faded glory felling to it. I do not mean this as a bad thing. It is a glorious hotel with wonderfully historic photos on its walls. There is a limited number of staff, all excellent, and the hotel was being renovated when we were there. Most if not all rooms have a balcony and breakfast is a buffet. If you are in the area I thoroughly recommend this hotel and a taste of glories of yesteryear.”
